Research Interests
In early 2013 we will begin fieldwork for a new project called “HIV after 40 in rural South Africa” that follows a recently completed HIV prevalence study conducted in the Agincourt sub-district of Mpumalanga Province (South Africa) where we found alarmingly high rates of HIV infection among older adults. HIV after 40 will be a qualitative follow up study to the survey, that looks more closely at the life histories (e.g., sexual and therapeutic lives) of a nested subsample of study participants.

Countries Studied
Malawi, South Africa.

Projects
